The Purple Standard - Updates

updated: 31.05.2020

A letter from the Vice Rector

Dear Students,

Recently, the government announced further relaxation of the restrictions governing higher education institutions under the provisions of the Purple Standard.

I would like to inform you that teaching will continue to be online until the end of the second semester, bearing in mind that many students have organized their lives around online teaching, with respect to their living arrangements, their work and transportation, etc.

In any event, as it would be impossible to return all courses to face-to-face teaching within the framework of the new policy, we have decided to continue with online teaching until the end of the semester, in order to prevent misunderstandings and difficulties.

In special cases that require on site instruction in classrooms, labs or training, students will be notified.

Further announcements about the relaxation or strengthening of restrictions, according to the situation, will be conveyed to the Faculties and you will be informed. Faculty Secretariats will post exam and assignment schedules shortly.

I thank you all for your cooperation in these times and hope to return to normal as soon as possible.

Stay safe and be well

Sincerely,

Prof. Eyal Zisser

Vice Rector
